Everyone dreams of the perfect day. With perfection comes lots and lots of wedding favor questions! Here are some of the most common questions I have had, and the answers I have given and gathered. I hope you will use this only as a guide, for I am a firm believer that every bride has her OWN vision. What were you wondering?
We make everything to order, customization and personal attention is very important so we ask that you place your order 3 weeks before the date you would like to receive your favors. This way if we need to order a special color ribbon or shell or topper we can order it and have them exactly as you envision. If your event is closer than that, don't panic, we can probably fill your order just call or email me right away! Yes! You can order a sample basket, select the ribbon and shell and flavor of cookie and you can see exactly how they will tie into your theme. The sample basket will have the cookies in the same shipping box but not physically inside the basket. This way you do not have to cut the ribbon to taste the delicious cookies inside. Want to try more than one flavor? Just order additional flavors! Each sample is $10.00 (this helps with shipping, which runs about $4.00 for one) Each additional flavor is $3.00. How to order your sample? Email me meltinyourmouthcookies@yahoo.com let me know your phone number AND the state you are calling from for I can be sensitive to your time zone! Please include in your details any details you already know and I will call you and you can ask any further questions you may have and I will get your Credit Card number at this time as well. Can I mix colors and cookies? And what can be printed on the tags? Absolutely, you can order as many colors as you want! We can also mix the cookies. However, we can only use one flavor per basket. For instance you can have 50 pink with Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies and 50 lavender with Butter Macadamia Nut Cookies. We are very flexible and encourage you to be creative with your colors. They really will become a beautiful addition to your table. If you would like to use 2 colors on one basket you can do that too. There will be an additional 50 cents added to the cost of each basket. This would bring your favor cost to $8.50, again, this includes shipping anwhere in the US. One the outer tag we can print just about anything. Most put the date and the bride and Groom's names or a quote. WE can use different fonts and colors as well. There are NO limitations though, this is your opportunity to truly make these YOUR FAVORS! -Some brides send us preprinted name cards done by their calligrapher, the baskets then double as place cards. -You can email me a word document set up in columns of your guests names for your place cards which we will print onto velum and trim to fit onto the baskets. This looks great because it is so personal. -We have also printed small graphics supplied by the bride. (one couple had a turtle graphic as they saw turtles in Maui when the groom proposed!) What if I want to have them shipped to my reception site or another location? We can ship the favors anywhere you direct us to. We often ship directly to the hotel or reception site so you do not have to lug them all over the place... Be sure to give me your check in date and the name you will be checking in under or a hotel contact or wedding coordinator , hotels are usually great about holding them for expected guests. If you are working with a coordinator we recommend shipping to them, let them be in charge afterall these are the details you pay them for! What if I am getting married in Hawaii? Great! we will deliver them to any location (EXCEPT IHILANI RESORTand Turlte Bay -there will be a 25.00 charge to deliver to this part of the island)on the island of OAHU for $7.75 per favor. Should you be married on an outer island we can ship directly to your hotel or wedding coordinator, We will just need your details and date of check in. Do you need some help finding other vendors here on Oahu? Let us know and we will direct you to our favorite vendors. How long do the cookies last and other questions... Our cookies are baked fresh daily, we seal them while they are still warm to preserve their freshness. They will stay light, crisp and yummy for six months until they are opened. Once they are opened, if your do not eat every last morsel you can keep them in an airtight container. They are very light and absorb moisture in humid climates so eat 'em up! Our cookies are only made or the things your can say and we do not add any preservatives or stabilizers! What if I do not see the Ribbon I want? I know that everything needs to be perfect! We have lots of additional colors of ribbon and shells, we do color matching and ribbon searches all the time...start here and see what we have. Ribbon Colors Many brides send us the ribbon they want to use, you can call me and I can let you know how much ribbon we will need for your order! Please do not be afraid to ask for something you do not see in this website or in my brochure! I can find just about anything you can dream up and love the challenge of making your vision a reality..We have some brides that send us ribbon so everything is exactly the same, this is a good idea too. Just ask and we will work on finding something perfect for you. |
